How quickly you send this email depends the type of service you provide. But generally it’s a good idea to systematically ask for review 3 to 5 days after the transaction took place.

If your business is not very email-oriented, opt for a more traditional approach (comment cards, phone calls, etc.) Also, don’t shy away from asking in person. Most customers won’t mind the request; many will appreciate that you care.
To get more online reviews, your business needs to establish a presence where your customers can post them. Yelp and Facebook are consumers’ most trusted review sites (followed by Google).
